--------

Lead/Primary (4 Roles)

--------

LEVI CONKLIN: (Male, 18 - 40, tall-ish, skinny. Dirty blonde or light brown hair, fair complexion.) an aspiring comic book illustrator and writer. Seclusive but kind, he is often the quiet kid in the corner that bothers no one, but isn't afraid to stand up for the right thing. He hasn't been very open with anyone since his father's suicide, reserving himself to his notepad and works. Younger of the Conklin brothers.

CODY CONKLIN: (Male, 18 - 40, sturdy but small frame, dark hair and confident face, fair-medium complexion) headstrong and confident, Cody is popular among his friends, as well as the ladies. Ever since his father's death, he's felt like he's had to protect his younger brother, as well as his family's name. He is often too generous and trusting for his own good, but when challenged, his temper can rival anyone's. Oldest of the Conklin brothers.

KIMBERLY CATCH: (Female, 18 - 40, casual dress, no makeup, little effort to light brown hair. Any complexion welcome.) the neighbor girl from across the alleyway, Kim has been close to Conklin brothers, especially Levi, for years. Having little desire to play with dolls growing up, she often found herself on her grandparents' farm whenever she was not at home. She has a weakness for the men who always seemingly ended up wrong, but her strength and charisma is what makes the other girls look up to her.

ADAM MARKOLM: (Male, 30 and up, inmate clothes, large and physically built, dark complexion, short hair) a former military counsellor and father who ended up in Alganton Penitentiary on the wrong end of a murder charge. Despite this, he often confides in the mental health issues of the other inmates, and inspires them to change for the better. The death of Guy Conklin, however, is one that has leaven him shaken, and longing for the memories he had left behind

Secondary

--------

FEMALE:

ELLA CONKLIN-ALDRICH: (Female, 30 - 60, blonde, with some height and heavier on cosmetics. Can be curvy, but fit.) A confident and calm woman, she has had to become resilient through her challenges - especially the suicide of her first husband, Guy. She moved on quickly with Scott, the police officer, and remains a strong and strict mother to Levi and Cody. Has an affinity for leather and business wear.

CHARITY LAKE: (Female, 18 - 30, brown hair, shorter. Fit and trim, like a Hollywood receptionist. Medium makeup. Any complexion welcome.) Aspiring communications student at Alganton University. She flukes out on a chance meeting with Levi, who she enlists to help with her publicity project. She eventually becomes Levi's publicist.

EMILY MARLO: (Female, 18 - 30, blonde, various builds/complexions.) A University student in Alganton, with some surprising history, and company. Jim Marlo’s surviving sister. Loves to be sociable and have a constant crowd around her.

MACKENZIE FELCH: (Female, 18 - 30, red or blonde hair, medium to fit build. Any complexion welcome.) An independent reporter for Alganton University. She has a fascination with the Leonard's Peak Fire whenever she learns of it, and lucks out when she realizes that Levi , who was at the fire and also the brother of the convicted responsible, now attend her school. Some of her darker secrets uncover some surprising habits, some a little closer than Cody would like.

CLARA CAMPBELL: (Female, 18 - 35, tomboy, brunette or blonde. Can have some physicality to her, but attractive. Any complexion welcome.) Agressive and arrogant, Clara is the perfect person to be the safety coodinator for Wyatt's Weed Wacking. She has a weakness, however, that Levi quickly finds himself on the other side of.

TIFFANY TABER: (Female, 18 - 40, black hair, dark complexion.) One of Kim's closest friends. Usually the quiet one of the group, and quick to follow trends...especially if it means increasing her own popularity. Despite that, she has a very mature streak, and is quick to stand up for the right thing when situations get too far.

BETHANY WATERS: (Female, 18 - 40, fair complexion.) One of Kim's closest friends. She tends to be offensive, and overly judgmental of people...quite often, right in the open. What she has in brashness, however, she makes up with her loyalty as a friend.

JANET CARRINGTON: (Female, 18 - 40, medium height. Attractive figure. Any complexion welcome.) One of the popular girls in school, she often uses her looks to her advantage. A run in with Cody, however, signals she might use it for more bad than anyone realized.

MALE:

GUY CONKLIN: (Male, 30 - 60, skinny-medium build. Brown hair. No longer than shoulder length.) Raised innocently enough, Guy was been a push-over for most of his life, typically being a follower in an attempt to find someplace to fit in. He was known to be a fantastic father, despite the trouble with the wrong crowd. To many, it was a tragedy that Guy fell to drug trafficking, that led to his jail sentence, and eventual suicide.

SCOTT ALDRICH: (Male, 30 - 60, tall, medium build. Red or blonde hair. Can be balding.) A headstrong, hard-nosed, and long-serving officer of the Leonard’s Peak Police, Scott met Ella Conklin not long after the death of her first husband. His position as a police officer makes his duty as a step-father difficult, and the lines are often blurred.

DON SMITHERS: (Male, 18 - 40, brown or black hair, heavier-medium set, friendly face. Any complexion welcome.) An anxious lad in his early youth before he had found a circle of people that accepted him, allowing him to become the loud and obnoxious that most knew and loved. Don and Cody had been the best of friends since early school, and he had almost become as close as a brother to the Conklin family. This leads to a comfort and cockiness that is undeserved, often showing itself most whenever Don has had a few drinks.

NATANIEL McGILE : (Male, 18 - 40, tall, fit farm boy. Dirty blonde light brown hair. Any complexion welcome.) Nate is always the life of the party, and usually, the most welcoming individual in a crowd. This leads him to throw parties in the loft of his barn, which was converted to be a party shack. He could never predict, however, the tragic turn of events that would follow one fateful fall night.

ERIK ROBERTSON: (Male, 18 - 40, blonde, with rigid jaw and a tough, but intelligent, look. Pale complexion.) A mysterious young man who typically dives head-first into trouble. While he may seem to mean well on the surface, Erik usually has a tendency to involve others in toxic energy. The rumor that he deals drugs certainly does him no assistance.

SHAUN NORMANDY: (Male, 18 - 40, fit-medium build. Any complexion welcome.) A wrench-head at heart, Shaun is a reserved individual. It is not until Cody is backed into a corner does he open up a little, feeling sympathy for the older Conklin brother. Proud of his truck, and his ability to put away the beer.

SAMUEL ARORA: (Male, 18 - 40, dark complexion. Heavier set.) University student working a summer job he hates at the request of his father. Levi’s co-worker at Wyatt’s Weed Wacking.
